Message even though, at times I feel I am neglecting her. Right now, mine is sitting in the garage, freshly washed and waxed. The last time I drove her was about 2 months ago. I just replaced the alternator and the battery, and still need a new fan. I have some new subs for the Z that I have been meaning to build a box for, along with a new amplifier. I have been meaning to drive to my brother's buddy's shop to get centercaps made for my Work Meister's, but haven't. It seems I just can't seem to justify doing one thing at a time. If I do one thing, it just leads to another, then to another, then to ... but I do it for other cards, especially for my truck.

Every now and then, I get reminded by friends how good the Z looks when they enter my garage. Then I fall in love all over again. Then when they leave, it's back to my old self again.

Overall, it seems as if I lost interest in my Z. Some time ago, a local Z'er by screen name of shirow and I were chatting online and he asked me if I lost interest in the Z. I had not been to any of the local Z meets lately, nor have I participated in anything Z related. Maybe it's because I feel I've distanced myself from the Z family.

I bought a new 07 Mini Cooper S last December. Turns out, it's not such a great car, and just traded it in for a new 08 G35 Sedan. I like the G much much better, and that's what I drive to work every day.

Over the past year-and-a-half, I got into offroading and sank about 6k into my 92 Toyota pickup (locked, geared, lifted, solid-axled, armored), and still putting money into it. I have used either Napa or Autozone for maintenance/replacement parts and it still gives me less trouble than my Z. *rolls eyes* And to say the least, I beat it up more than my Z.

I just feel somewhat guilty that I spend more time with the truck than the Z.
